Water Management and Adaptation

As we experience more frequent and intense rainfall events, improving stormwater management systems becomes essential to prevent flooding and protect critical infrastructure. New solutions such as permeable pavements, rain gardens, and detention basins can capture and slow the flow of rainwater. In addition to managing excess water, these systems also help recharge groundwater supplies and support urban biodiversity. What strategies can cities use to conserve and reuse water? How can we encourage water-saving behaviors among residents? What ideas do you have for conserving and protecting water resources?
